Business Analyst

About the role
As a member of our IT Business Analysis team, you will be responsible for analyzing business processes, gathering requirements, collaborating with stakeholders, analyzing systems, and facilitating improvements through IT solutions. Analyzing the processes and operations in DHB Bank and participating in projects in analyses and implementation stages. You will be preparing specifications and coordinating the further development, testing and implementation of assigned modules, as well as maintaining existing software applications. Additionally, handling the online errors advised via helpdesk and maintain web-site content management.
Key responsibilities:
Requirements Gathering and Analysis
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business objectives and translate them into functional and technical requirements.
- Analyse and document current business processes and systems to identify areas of improvement.
Project Management and Collaboration
- Work with project owner and development teams to ensure requirements are well-understood and accurately implemented.
- Assist in planning, prioritizing, and managing project timelines and resources.
- Support change management processes and communicate project progress to stakeholders.
System Design and Testing
- Develop and propose solutions that optimize business processes and align with company goals.
- Create process flows, wireframes, and system models to support proposed solutions.
- Collaborate with QA teams to develop and execute test cases, ensuring solutions meet defined requirements.
Data Analysis and Reporting
- Use data analysis to assess the effectiveness of IT solutions and identify trends.
- Prepare and present reports and dashboards to support decision-making and strategy.
Documentation and Training
- Develop comprehensive documentation, including requirements, user manuals, and system guides.
- Conduct training sessions and workshops for end-users to ensure seamless adoption of new systems.
Continuous Improvement
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, technologies, and best practices in business analysis and IT.
- Identify and recommend opportunities for continuous improvement and innovation.
About you
The suitable candidate’s professional and personal characteristics include:
- Bachelor’s degree;
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in banking and system analysis;
- Knowledge in project management technique, business analysis technique, information security and cybersecurity;
- Intimate knowledge in computer and network systems, the product range of the organization.
Skills and abilities:
- Having analytical skills with eye for details to help you to think critically about an issue, make decisions, and solve problems in any context
- Good interpersonal and organizational skills are key to succeed.
- Keen to take opportunities to be creative and innovative to deliver under tight deadlines
- Ability to recognize problems and risks to spot challenges and to find solutions
- Excellent command of/highly proficient in spoken and written English. Knowledge of Dutch and Turkish is desirable.
