Would you like to get to know DHB Bank during your studies?

We are looking for a motivated and proactive intern to contribute to our Sustainability & ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) initiatives within our Project Genesis team which is a dedicated ESG team unites expertise from risk, marketing, and credit analysis, ensuring a holistic ESG approach. This is a unique opportunity to play an integral part in supporting the development and implementation of our bank’s sustainability actions. You will work closely with internal stakeholders and actively contribute to projects that align with our sustainability strategy.

As an intern, you will gain exposure to a wide range of activities that support our sustainability goals, while working with professionals across departments. This role is ideal for someone passionate about sustainability, eager to learn, and ready to contribute to meaningful change in the financial industry.

On paper, you will report to Project Coordinator, though in practice, you will primarily work with and report to the Project Genesis team.

Your main responsibilities are:

  • Sustainability Analysis: Assist in the analysis of financed emissions and other sustainability metrics such as Green Asset Ratio and taxonomy-alignment, ensuring compliance with sustainability regulations and reporting standards.
  • Monitoring of Regulations: Continuous monitoring of ESG-related regulations mainly within the EU.
  • Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Engage with various departments (e.g., Credits, Marketing, Risk Management, Compliance) to learn about sustainability and risk management practices.
  • Market Research: Conduct research on ESG trends, regulatory changes, and best practices to support informed decision-making within the team.
  • Report & Presentation Support: Help prepare presentations, customer-specific ESG reports and regular ESG-related reports for internal and external stakeholders, including senior management, regulators, and clients.
  • Project Support: Provide day-to-day support to the Project Genesis team, ensuring smooth coordination of meetings, actions, and initiatives.
