About the role
As a Software Engineer specializing in customer-facing and integration applications, you'll play a pivotal role in driving our digital transformation. Reporting to the Head of IT Application Management, you'll be at the forefront of developing innovative Internet Banking Applications. The position’s main responsibilities are:

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain software modules using C#, ASP.NET, Spring Boot, and MVC frameworks;
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams to gather and analyse requirements for Internet Banking Applications;
  • Implement secure coding practices to ensure data integrity and confidentiality;
  • Write efficient, maintainable code following best practices and coding conventions;
  • Identify and resolve software issues effectively;
  • Collaborate with QA engineers to ensure robust testing and validation;
  • Stay updated with emerging technologies and contribute to process enhancements;
  • Translate user requirements into technical specifications with the Product Management team;
  • Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to maintain high standards.


About you
DHB is looking to attract a seasoned professional for this role. The suitable candidate’s professional and personal characteristics include:

  • You have solid and broad-based experience as a .NET Software Engineer or experience in a similar role. Preferably within banking or financial application development;
  • You hold a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent through experience);
  • You have strong technical knowledge and good understanding of C#, ASP.NET, MVC, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Exposure to Java & Spring Boot is a plus.
  • You have a solid understanding of relational databases, preferably Oracle, with efficient SQL/PLSQL query writing;
  • You are familiar with Git, agile methodologies, software development best practices, design patterns, security protocols, HTTPS, encryption, authentication and architectural principles;
  • You are observant, a natural initiator and conscientious with attention to detail;
  • You are an energetic team player, keen to perform in a multi-cultural environment.
